On behalf of School District 27J, along with the teachers and staff of West Ridge Elementary, I would like to welcome you to West Ridge.
West Ridge Elementary, located in the Quebec Run subdivision in east Thornton, opened its doors on September 4, 2007. On that day, children became the most essential part of a school community and culture of learning that was designed for them. The students of West Ridge have inherited an architecturally superior school facility complete with new furnishings, up-to-date technologies, the latest and best curricular programs, and the highest quality of hand-picked staff. With the opening of our new school, we strive to take advantage of an exceptional opportunity to create an educational culture that meets the expectations of the parental community in which our school is housed.
